Il 17 dicembre 2024 il Parlamento europeo in seduta plenaria ha eletto, con 344 voti a favore, Teresa Anjinho come nuova Mediatrice europea.
Il mandato quinquennale prenderà avvio il 27 febbraio 2025 con il giuramento presso la Corte di giustizia dell’Unione europea.

On 17 December 2024 the European Parliament in plenary sitting elected Teresa Anjinho as new European Ombudsman, with 344 votes in favour.
The five-year term will start on 27 February 2025 with the swaering-in ceremony at the Court of Justice of the European Union.
